When it Rains, It Pours...

Jeremy and I decided in the spring to join a Dave Ramsey class through our church and have found it to be a treasure chest full of great financial information and tips on budgeting, investing, retirement, etc.

One of the ironic things we have learned is when it rains it pours. He mentioned that once you have a small emergency fund set up, a lot of "emergencies" will happen and you will have to test "all that budgeting stuff knowledge." We soon foudn out oh how true this is.

In May, our flat screen tv bit the dust. Fell right over and put a hole in the screen.
In June (so far), our refridgerator and freezer decided to heat our food for us.

We shall see what the rest of the class tenure brings-it probably doesn't even end then. Isn't God good for providing when we have these little emergencies?

How often do they do this class? My Jeremy and I have been looking for a place to take one. Are they likely the repeat it or do it again?

Yes. They are looking to repeat it in the Fall. Check out the church's website for more details.
