Chicken Fest 2011

Earlier in the month, we visited Jer's parents house for the Chicken Fest.  Up until the softball games, we all had a great time.

Maddie loved being with her older cousin, Michal, who graciously put up with all of the tackling and pulling.  We played in the pool at a church friends home.  It was so nice to be able to get out of the heat and cool off.

 

And of course...we ate chicken.

Who knew baths with cousins were so fun?

Unfortunately, we ended the weekend visiting Papaw in the hospital.  Praise God he is healing well.
